Iris Violeta foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization whose main objective is to help families and individuals in Oklahoma City and the country of El Salvador.
In Oklahoma City, we help children, grades 1st to 3rd, who are behind in their reading skills. Also, we give attention to pregnant women. Lastly, we distribute food items to low-income families or families who have lost their jobs.
In El Salvador, we help children and the elderly with low resources and incurable diseases. Additionally, we help kidney patients who receive hemodialysis treatment at the Rosales hospital in San San Salvador. Furthermore, we help children that are kidney patients at the Benjamin Bloom children’s hospital. Lastly, we provide food baskets that benefit a large number of families.
Throughout the year, we do activities to help families and individuals in Oklahoma City and El Salvador. Visit, our what we do page, to get detailed information on our projects.
The Founder, Otilia Sorto Fuentes.
My name is Otilia Sorto Fuentes, I am the founder of Iris Violeta Foundation. I was born in El Salvador, but now I proudly call Oklahoma City my home town.
Since an early age back in El Salvador, my parents taught me to care for others and give help to those less fortunate. Caring for others is a gift that I received from my parents.
I created this foundation as a way of increasing my reach and help many more families or individuals. There are many families in El Salvador and Oklahoma City that need a helping hand. Giving a helping hand to these individuals or families is something that I want to achieve.
